Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak in conversation with Donna Tennant

Join us Saturday afternoon for a conversation about our current exhibition nature studies with artist Lydia Bodnar-Balahutrak and art writer Donna Tennant.

Donna Tennant is a Houston-based art writer who writes weekly reviews for the online magazine Visual Art Source and sister publication Art ltd., a bimonthly magazine based in Los Angeles. Over the past 35 years, she has written about art for many local and national publications, including the Houston Chronicle, Southwest Art, Artlies, ARTnews, and the Houston Press. She has also written numerous catalogue essays. Donna has a B.A. in art history and philosophy from the University of Rochester and an M.A. in art history from the University of New Mexico. She has taught art history at University of Houston – Downtown and the Lone Star College System, as well as English and photojournalism at area high schools.
